DELLTA is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every English Learner in Delaware receives a high-quality, well-supported, and equitable education. We empower educators, uplift multilingual students and families, and advocate for policies that create lasting, systemic change.
DE Multilingual Learner Annual Conference In Person Event
Our annual Spring General Membership Meeting was held in person on April 15, 2026. The event was well attended by families and educators, many of whom witnessed the DELLTA membership awards for the first time. A total of 26 English learners were recognized and received scholarship stipends in honor of their achievements.
The program also featured a guest speaker, Valentina Maza, a former Delaware Multilingual graduate, who shared her educational journey and encouraged current multilingual learners to continue pursuing their goals.
This event was held in collaboration with the Department of Education’s Title III Office. We extend our sincere thanks to all families, students, and educators, as well as Secretary Marten, for their continued support of multilingual learners.
