Dear DELLTA members,
We invite you to join us in honoring our hardworking seniors who are current or former English Learners (ELs) with a DELLTA Amanda Sapp Parisi annual award.
DELLTA’s annual awards are a long-standing tradition and source of pride for our members, as well as Delaware’s EL students and their families. DELLTA is very pleased that every year we have been able to award deserving seniors throughout the state this award.
This year, the window to submit applications is Monday, February 6, 2023 to Monday, March 27, 2023. Our application system is now online to streamline the process! You can find the purpose of the award, eligibility details, evaluation criteria, and application instructions at this link.
All parts of the application must be completed for consideration. Any missing parts will disqualify the applicant.
We will be announcing our awards at the spring General Membership meeting on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Details will be forthcoming, but please save the date! Please plan on attending in person or via Zoom with your student applicants if possible. Awards will be mailed to the students' schools if they are unable to attend the meeting in person.
The amount of money we are able to award is reflective of our fundraising successes each year.
To continue furnishing monetary awards in the future, DELLTA’s current officers urge you to become actively involved in our fundraising efforts and events.
