We had a successful General Membership meeting last week where we were able to honor seven amazing students from the Lake Forest and Cesar Rodney School Districts. Students represented China, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Central America, and the Philippines. Congratulations to our 2024 recipients!
Cary Knight gave DOE updates which included highlights from this year's ML conference, upcoming professional learning opportunities, and more! To access her presentation, please click here.
Samanta Lopez spoke to our membership on the topic of Empowering Teachers for Advocacy. Her message came from personal experience and she emphasized focusing on partnerships with others to take advocacy to the next level.
As always we are grateful to our speakers for taking the time to address our membership. We were able to conduct general business, thank our members for their attendance and support, and encourage participation to increase in the upcoming school year. Please tell a friend about DELLTA! We are stronger together!
Finally, the results from the 2024 shoe drive are in! DELLTA received the following certificate today. The money we raised will go toward next year's student achievement and recognition awards! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us collect shoes this year.
