Multilingual Learner Olympics - Opportunity to support and learn from a wonderful event!

The Milford Multilingual Learner Educator Team cordially invites you to attend our the return of our Multilingual Learner Olympics event hosted at Ross Elementary School in the Milford School District on Saturday, February 11, 2023. The event consists of 65 competitions that display different English language proficiency levels and academic abilities of students classified as Multilingual Learners (MLs). Currently, the Milford School District elementary schools have over 550 MLs enrolled with over 11 different languages represented.

This event was created by staff in the Milford School District to allow our ML students to display abilities while building pride and confidence in their multilingualism. This entirely academic event incorporates both team and individual competitions and will occur throughout the course of the day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Two award ceremonies will be held in the Lulu Ross gymnasium starting at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to recognize outstanding performances.

The Milford School District staff and students would be honored if you could visit us during this event to witness the tremendous accomplishments and abilities of this growing student population. If you would like to volunteer at the MSD ML Olympics, please do so using our 2023 MSD ML Olympics Volunteer Google Form. As a supporter of our Delaware schools and multicultural communities, we would be delighted if you were able to join us to witness this meaningful event!
