We are very excited about our guest speaker, Mauricio Salinas, who will present on family engagement in education. A native of El Salvador, he immigrated to the United States as a teenager. For nearly three decades, Mauricio has worked as a teacher and coordinator of language programs in the Washington D.C. area and now in Delaware. Mauricio’s passions are in the areas of immersion teaching and family engagement.
This year, we are offering our first hybrid style meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 6:00 PM if there is enough interest for the in-person option. Please RSVP by Monday, 11-28-22.
We will meet in person at the University of Delaware Paradee Center located at 69 Transportation Circle in Dover. If you can not attend in person, please join us via zoom. You will need to register in advance for the zoom link below.
